Basra University held a lecture on professional ethics in Unit Six of the Teaching Methods course

The Center for Development and Continuing Education at Basra University presented Unit Six on professional ethics as part of the updated curriculum for the southern region.

The lecture on professional ethics was delivered by Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood and Dr. Muhannad Abdul-Hussein Aboud. They defined how multidisciplinary professional ethics work and highlighted the qualities that teachers should embody. They emphasized the importance of educational ethics, noting that an educator should not act solely for themselves. Additionally, having a scientific title should not be a personal achievement, and it is unacceptable for educators to abandon their lesson plans, as this negatively impacts students and future generations. This creates a precedent that others may follow, and it is essential to maintain a spirit of giving, regardless of the surrounding circumstances.
