The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on ethics and professional ethics for the medical specialty as part of the teaching methods course.

The lecture aims to identify behaviors that are contrary to the ethics of the teaching profession for trainees.

The lecture, presented by Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood, included principles and ethics of the teaching profession, codes of conduct for the teaching profession, the professor's duties towards the student, and the relationship of the university professor within the campus with colleagues and staff.

The lecture recommended adherence to the ethics of the teaching profession in terms of the professor's relationship with students and colleagues, and rejecting contrary behaviors.
