The University of Basra held a lecture on making ethical decisions for the sixth unit of the humanities specialization

The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on making ethical decisions for the sixth unit of the humanities specialization as part of a teaching methods course.

 

The lecture aims to train university professors in the humanities on how to make ethical decisions in academic work.

 

The lecture, presented by trainer Thuraya Abdul Rasul Hassan, highlighted the importance of making ethical decisions in the academic environment, as well as the role of ethics in promoting integrity and transparency in education and scientific research. It discussed the basic principles of academic ethics such as honesty, fairness, and respect, in addition to how to handle challenges that academics might face when making decisions that affect the course of education and research. Practical case studies were also reviewed to illustrate the impact of ethical decisions in academic life
