The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on medical instructional design as part of the Sixth Teaching Methods Course for the second unit.
The lecture, which is included within the Sixth Teaching Methods Course for the second unit, aimed to develop trainees’ instructional design skills.
Delivered by Dr. Mays Basil Jalil and Dr. Khadija Sami Madi, the lecture addressed the importance of instructional design models in enhancing the educational process, with a particular focus on the ADDIE model, which is characterized by its flexibility and ease of application across various fields of education and training.
The lecture also highlighted the role of this model in saving time, effort, and cost, as well as its adaptability to meet the needs of both learners and trainers.
