 and it will make sure that you are no less than you are in a better position than you are if you know that you can obtain courses of a high level of quality and training programs with international accreditation that puts you in the ranks of distinguished professional qualifications. For life, lifelong learning does not stop when you possess the keys to theoretical sciences, but rather with the training courses and quality programs it offers, making you possess weapons with which to face the requirements of society, the labor market, and life variables because you will look like a modern human being as you should be, and become qualified to keep pace with the new professionally without Looking at your age or adhering to a narrow view, our dear country does not deserve it. 
The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra was established in 1987, and among its objectives: 
First 
- to deliver the latest knowledge and information and Research results for professionals and linking it to daily work experiences, 

Second: 
Creating educational opportunities for Teaching Staff to view and increase information, knowledge, and modern experiences for the purpose of professional growth.

Third: 

Creating opportunities for workers in the various sectors of the state to view, increase, and professional and career growth  Fourth:  

                            Helping people with different professions from employees and others On acquiring the skills and experiences that enable them to face the cultural, social, technological and other changes and developments brought about by the revolution in all areas of life.    Fifth:  

                       Integration events between continuing education programs and productive, health and professional institutions.

Sixth -                           
Achieving integration between formal education and continuing education through the development of methods and formulas to ensure the success of this integration.                                 To achieve its objectives, the Center relies on the following means: 
First 
- Strengthening relations with scientific staff and departments and outside and scientific societies inside and outside Iraq for scientific and educational work and the exchange of experiences. 
Second 
- Conducting extensive studies and research related to the daily life of people with different professions. 
Third 
- Organizing scientific, cultural, and educational programs for the different classes of society, as determined by the field of specialization and work. Fourth - 
Organizing training rehabilitation, and development courses in the various specializations of the university. 
Fifth: 
Holding conferences, symposia and seminars in a way that enhances intellectual ties between workers and professionals in the field of specialization. Sixth 
- Contributing to national, Arab, and international seminars and conferences on continuing education
