The Center for Development and Continuing Education at University of Basra set an online symposium titled (translating some English expressions). The symposium aims to make

participants understand the meaning of some expressions because the latter are crucial in our daily lives. It was presented by Assist. Lecturer, H. M Maatouq. It included explaining the difference between a ticket and a boarding pass for the plane and other life facilities   . Also, it aims to make the audience differentiate between X- Ray, CT scan, MRA, Echo and Sonar. Moreover, it focuses of some symbols that used in social media. Finally, it recommends that attention and awareness should be considered through using these expressions, and it is necessary to publish them.
