Center for Development and Continuing Education Systems held an online symposium on philosophical transformations and sociological contexts, an approach in the potentials of effect.

The symposium aims to explore the importance of philosophy and its role in serving society which is held by Dr. Ali Hadi Taher . Some questions are raised in this symposium. Firstly, why did UNESCO celebrate the International Philosophy Day? Secondly, it presents examples of the impact of philosophy on societies and their advancement. Thirdly, it approaches the society’s response towards philosophy whether it is negative or positive. Fourthly, it viewed the unfairness view of philosophy from the following: political aspect, scholars, and its impostors.

Moreover, the symposium recommended to approach certain suggestions to improve philosophy. Finallyr, the society should take philosophy into consideration so that the latter could serve society.
