The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized an online scientific workshop on the scientific miracles in the Holy Qur’an

The aim of the workshop is to recall the importance of the Noble Qur’an, prove that science and religion are not mutually exclusive, and combat the foreign intellectual wave in our society.

The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Ali Abd al-Ridha al-Saadi, a lecturer in the Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine, Al-Ameed University in Iraq, included axes of scientific miracles in the Holy Qur’an, including the astronomical, medical and natural sciences axis.

And it dealt with the attempt to link religion with science and prove that they meet and do not contradict, and also reviewed the conformity of modern scientific information with the words of the Holy Qur’an in several fields, including astronomy, medical sciences, life sciences and nature, as we presented a summary of this miracle in the Book of God Almighty.

Stressing that the topic is of great importance to our dear students, the university and society

At the end of the workshop, I came out with recommendations and suggestions, including holding courses and workshops on the scientific miracles in the Holy Qur’an for students of Iraqi universities.
