The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra sets a forum  on the safety of the Arabic language.

The aim of the forum is to teach participants the role and importance of the Arabic language among Arabs and others, to avoid spelling, grammatical and phonetic errors, and to avoid common language errors.

The symposium was presented by Dr. Abbas Abdulaziz Saihoud. It included the basics of learning of the Arabic language, the rules of the nominal sentence, the rules of utterances related to sentence structures. It focuses also on the common spelling errors, in the language, common morphological and grammatical errors.

In the end, the recommendation was to adopt the integrity of the Arabic language in the correspondences of official books, (MA) theses, (Ph.d) dissertations and scientific research, as well as in official forums
