
The Center for Development and Continuing Education, in cooperation with the College of Arts, Department of History, at the University of Basra, organized a workshop on fragments of the biography of Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba, peace be upon him.
The aim of the workshop is to shed light on the biography of Imam Hassan, peace be upon him, on the anniversary of his auspicious birth, corresponding to the 15th of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Salma Abdul Hamid Al-Hashemi, included fragments of the fragrant biography of the imam, including the name and the conflicting narrations about the origin of the name, birth, upbringing, the virtues of the imam in the Qur’an and the sayings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his role in the succession of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
And his caliphate and reconciliation with Muawiyah the motives and reasons and his martyrdom
In the end, the recommendation was to draw lessons and lessons from the biography of the imams, peace be upon them
Calling students and researchers to submit objective and fair research and studies on Imam Hassan, peace be upon him, due to the many distortions and slanders his biography has been subjected to.
