The aim of the workshop is to familiarize the participants with the importance of monkeypox and its danger to societies

 The workshop, presented by Prof. Dr. Kamal El-Din Muhalhal Al-Saad, included identifying monkey pox after its widespread spread in many African countries first and then some European and American countries, as well as discussing the epidemiology of this disease and presenting the clinical symptoms that characterize it with the definition of its transmission methods from animal to human and from  Human to human and knowledge of methods of treatment and prevention

 In the end, the recommendation was to take the preventive measures followed, such as washing hands, following up on diseased or suspicious cases if they appeared and reporting them, not mixing with infected patients or using their tools such as clothes and bedding, as well as following up on people in contact with infected people and informing the health authorities of that
