The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized an electronic workshop on the impact of dust storms on the province of Basra (their causes and effects on the province’s environment)

   The aim of the workshop is to familiarize the residents of Basra Governorate with the causes of dust storms that the governorate is exposed to and what are the resulting effects that threaten their lives, especially the sick among them, with the development of appropriate solutions for them to follow and get rid of their effects on them.

 The workshop, which was presented by the teacher Ali Ghanem Yassin Hailik Al-Maliki, included the definition of dust storms.  The causes and effects of dust storms.

 And the impact of dust storms on the environment of Basra Governorate, solutions and conclusions.

 In the end, the recommendation was to continue with more educational workshops because of their benefit to the community, whether at the present or the future.
