The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a seminar on autism and speech disorders, with the aim of informing participants about autism disorders, their main symptoms, and identifying sensory problems, linking behavioral problems to sensory integration, and therapeutic methods for behavioral problems. The seminar, presented by the lecturer Aliaa Odah Jaber and the international trainer Monther Abdul Sattar Jameel, included a detailed explanation of autism and its symptoms, as well as sensory integration and linking behavioral problems to sensory integration, in addition to identifying the most important training programs for dealing with autistic children. In the end, the recommendation was to raise awareness among parents about autism disorders and to identify the most important problems associated with it, in order to alleviate the symptoms
