The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on leadership skills for the managerial leader.

The objective of the lecture, which is part of the Administrative Leadership Skills course, is to enhance and enrich the skills of the participating trainees with information related to the managerial functions practiced by managers at all levels within the organization.

The lecture, presented by Dr. Aruba Rashid Ali Al-Badran, included a detailed explanation of the functions of planning, organizing, controlling, directing, and motivating. Each function was elaborated on to provide a comprehensive understanding of its role in effective leadership.

In conclusion, the recommendation is to focus on enriching the trainees' skills with more up-to-date information and practical cases from the work reality of companies and major international organizations regarding the practice of managerial functions
