The University of Basra organizes a workshop on Organizational Conflict Management

Center at the University of Basra organized workshop on managing organizational conflict within the Rigor Project.

 

 The objective of the workshop, which is part of the middle management course, is to acquaint the participants with the principles, basic concepts of conflict, methods of dealing with it, and knowledge of conflict strategies within organizations.

 

 The workshop, which was presented by Researcher Maher Odeh Bustan, included the concept of conflict, the positive and negative effects of the organizational conflict, the intellectual development of its study, its stages and levels, and strategies for resolving organizational conflict. Then he reviewed the various administrative mechanisms for how to deal with organizational conflicts and organizational crises within the organization.

 

 The presenter also cited the Islamic experience according to an authentic  approach of Islam, which in turn contributes to enriching the administrative literature in this field.

 

 In the end, the presenter recommended practical and theoretical training to confront the various types of conflict in organizations, the methods of containing it, and the development of a plan to manage all kinds of conflict
