The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra, in collaboration with the Department of History in the College of Arts, organized a scientific seminar with the title "Spotlights on Gaza: From the Depths of History to the Flood of Al-Aqsa."

The seminar, presented by Professor Dr. Shakir Majid Kazem, focusing on the historical dimension of the city of Gaza, and Professor Dr. Nazem Rashm Al-Amara, addressing the topic of the flood of Al-Aqsa, was attended by numerous faculty members from the Department of History and postgraduate students, along with other participants.

In conclusion, several esteemed professors actively engaged in discussions and provided insightful comments on the seminar, contributing significantly to enriching and enhancing the seminar's focal points.
