The Continuing Education and Development Center at Basra University held a course on developing legal skills.

The goal of the course is to enhance the legal abilities and skills of participants or legal consultants in various institutions.

The course, presented by legal consultant Shrouq Naima Abdul Rahman, included many topics, the most important of which were the objectives of the course and the target groups, as well as topics on administrative development, an introduction to administrative decisions, the components of administrative decisions, and legal consultations related to contracts and all their details. It also provided a brief on the legal consultant, their duties, responsibilities, skills, successful qualifications, and career progression. The course concluded with legal consultations related to claims and lawsuits, methods for developing the skills of legal consultants, and the ten most important skills required for a professional lawyer.
