The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on the ethics of scientific research, Unit Eight for medical specialization, as part of a teaching methods course.

The lecture aims to familiarize trainees with the ethics that should be adhered to before, during, and after conducting scientific research, as well as understanding the tools and methods used when converting scientific research into a publishable research paper, and knowing how to classify scientific journals and the process of publishing in them.

The lecture, presented by Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood, included professional ethics in scientific research, how to turn research into a scientific paper, and resources and links for finding journals, as well as details about reputable journals and the publishing process.
