University of Basra Launches the Fourth Teaching Methods Course

The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah launched the fourth teaching methods course, "Towards Blended Learning with an Updated Curriculum," in accordance with the government program. The course was attended by the University President's Assistant for Academic Affairs, Dr. Haider Khazal Al-Kaabi, the Director of the Teaching Center, Muhammad Imad Al-Rubaie, and teaching methods experts.

 

The course aims to familiarize trainees with skills and prepare them for academic honors.

 

The course, lectured by Dr. Rafid Abdul-Jabbar Muhammad, lasted three months. He explained that the course included eight modules, including an introduction to teaching and learning, with a detailed explanation that paved the way for achieving progressive results in teaching methods. He explained that specialization must be a focus of great interest in order to instill the fundamental pillars for advancing education and highlighting the stages of the project to modernize teaching methods in accordance with the updated curriculum.
