The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a course on the integrity of the Arabic language.

The course aims to develop the linguistic abilities of the participants.

The course, presented by Dr. Abdulkarim Khalid Inayat, included how to draw the middle hamza in a word, knowing its rules in writing, how to draw the extreme hamza, knowing the basic rule for it, indicating the positions of punctuation marks as signs of meaning, knowing common linguistic errors, trying to correct them, and developing remedies to get rid of them, formal addresses, how to formulate them, the zad and dha, and the issue of pronunciation and writing, trying to identify and treat the defects.
