The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a workshop titled "Higher Education Fund Instructions."

The workshop aimed to clarify the Fund's role in supporting universities and developing education.

The workshop, presented by researcher Sana Hashim Abdul Rahman, and attended by a number of academics and interested parties, reviewed the Fund's origins, objectives, funding sources, and resource management mechanisms.

The workshop also addressed the Fund's disbursements and support, such as infrastructure development, scientific research, and student activities.

The workshop recommended enhancing transparency, detailing mechanisms for direct support to students, and involving the private sector in supporting the educational process.
