The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a lecture on professional ethics for the sixth unit of engineering specialization as part of the fourth teaching methods course.

The lecture aims to instill ethical values among teachers and promote awareness of the importance of adhering to professional ethics.

The lecture, presented by Dr. Ali Latif Tarsh, included defining the importance of professional ethics in education and how ethics contributes to building a positive learning environment and its role in enhancing trust between the teacher, student and society, which supports the success of the educational process, applying the rules of professional ethics and reviewing the basic rules of professional behavior, while emphasizing the importance of adhering to ethical standards in all aspects of teaching to achieve ideal educational practices.
