The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra organized a training course entitled "Fundamentals of Computer Education" as part of the free "Education for All" initiative.

The course aims to introduce participants to basic computer concepts, from its history and types to how to operate it and use its programs.

The course, presented by researcher Mohammed Murtada Al-Ameri, included a theoretical and practical explanation of the physical and software parts of the computer, in addition to training participants in the use of basic office programs. The course recommended the frequency of practical experiences, continuous exposure to office work tools, and increasing awareness of the correct and simplified use of computers.
