The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a lecture on scientific research methodology for the eighth and final unit of the fourth teaching methods course within the medical specialization.

The lecture, which is part of the fourth teaching methods course, aims to develop trainees' skills in writing scientific research and identify the characteristics of the general scientific research methodology and how to publish in reputable journals.

The lecture, which was presented by Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood, included what scientific research methodology is, types of scientific research, its general characteristics, the structure of writing research, how to search for reputable journals, knowledge of international scientific standards, and how to publish.
