The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah organized a training course on computer maintenance.

The course aimed to enhance participants’ skills in the basic principles of maintenance, both theoretically and practically.

The course, delivered by faculty member Hala Shakir Mahmoud, covered an introduction to computer components, input and output units, the central processing unit, and various types of memory. The program also included a detailed explanation of the hard disk and its components, as well as practical training on opening devices, diagnosing malfunctions, formatting, and installing operating systems.

The course witnessed notable engagement from participants, as part of the university’s efforts to develop technical skills.
