The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture titled “From Prostration to Renaissance: Imam Al-Sajjad (Peace Be Upon Him)… A Power That Revives Hearts.”

This awareness-raising lecture aimed to enhance religious and intellectual consciousness within the academic community.

Delivered by Dr. Samar Tawfiq Abdullah, the lecture highlighted the pivotal role of Imam Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon him) in the intellectual and spiritual renaissance following the tragedy of Karbala, as well as his efforts in reinforcing Islamic values through supplication and knowledge.

The lecture also shed light on the reformative aspects of his personality and his profound impact on reviving hearts and minds.
