The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a training course on the fundamentals of electronic archiving and its role in preserving documents.

The course aimed to highlight the significance of electronic archiving in maintaining, organizing, and facilitating the retrieval of documents with ease.

Delivered by lecturer Ahmed Nasser Ismail, the course covered a range of topics including: the definition and concept of archives, manual archiving, the nature and types of documents, the importance of electronic archiving, its systems, benefits, challenges, steps involved in the archiving process, and the tools used in electronic archiving.
