The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the College of Education for Women, organized an webinar on school violence.

The seminar aims to raise awareness among teachers, students, and parents about the dangers and forms of school violence, identify the factors leading to its spread, and offer practical solutions to reduce it.

The seminar, presented by Dr. Rafeef Abdul-Hafiz Al-Riyahi, Dr. Sinan Saeed Jassim Al-Asadi, and instructor Saif Jassim Muhammad, included a definition of violence and its types—verbal, physical, psychological, and digital—as well as its causes and effects on the educational environment, while proposing educational alternatives and solutions.
