The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah conducted a teaching competency test for candidates in the field of applied sciences, with the participation of a group of applicants seeking to teach at Iraqi universities.

The test aimed to evaluate the candidates’ proficiency and their possession of the necessary teaching and academic skills, as well as their ability to deliver knowledge in a scientific and pedagogical manner.

The process included lecture presentations and scientific discussions before specialized committees, focusing on academic knowledge, practical skills, and delivery methods. This activity reflects the University of Basrah’s commitment to ensuring the quality of education and enhancing the performance of its teaching staff.
