The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Education for Women, organized an online workshop titled “Sexual Disorders: Causes and Solutions.”

The workshop aimed to raise participants’ awareness of the nature of sexual disorders, their medical, psychological, and social causes, and their impact on the individual, family, and society, while also providing guidance and therapeutic solutions that contribute to promoting sexual health in line with ethical and religious values.

The workshop, presented by Dr. Rafif Abdulhafez Al-Riyahi, included an explanation of the classification of disorders, the distinction between normal and abnormal behavior, as well as a discussion of their causes and effects on marital and social life. She emphasized the importance of education and counseling in prevention and treatment.
