The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah conducted the updated teaching competency test for specializations within the humanities, with the participation of a group of applicants for teaching positions at Iraqi universities.

The test aims to assess applicants' competence in terms of their possession of the pedagogical and cognitive skills necessary for university teaching, in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The test included discussions of scientific and linguistic aspects, presentation styles, and interaction with students, contributing to raising the level of academic performance and ensuring the quality of the educational process in higher education institutions.
