The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah conducted the updated teaching competency test for engineering specializations, with the participation of several candidates applying to teach in the university’s engineering colleges.

The test aims to assess the candidates’ academic skills and their ability to deliver scientific material using modern teaching methods that align with university quality standards.

The evaluation included a presentation and a scientific discussion before a specialized committee of professors to determine the candidates’ readiness to engage in university teaching using contemporary educational approaches. This initiative contributes to enhancing academic performance and improving the quality of education at the University of Basrah.
