
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah, in collaboration with the College of Education for Women, organized an online seminar titled “Digital Personal Security in the Virtual World: A Guiding Vision and Educational Philosophy,” with the participation of several researchers and specialists in the educational field.
The seminar aimed to enhance awareness of the concept of digital personal security among students and educational counselors, focusing on the psychological and social risks resulting from unsafe use of the virtual world, and the role of educational guidance in fostering conscious and responsible digital behavior.
The lectures, presented by Dr. Rafif Abdul-Hafidh Al-Riyahi and instructors Huda Ahmed Alwan and Sawsan Abdul-Jalil, discussed topics related to digital security as an educational and ethical value, as well as strategies for preventing cyberbullying and online fraud.
