The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Department of Student Activities, held a workshop on first aid.

The workshop aimed to promote health awareness within the university community and to enhance the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations that may arise in everyday incidents.

Presented by lecturer Kamil Abdul-Farhan, the workshop explained the concept of first aid and methods for handling fractures, nosebleeds, electric shocks, poisoning cases, as well as traffic accidents, choking, and cardiac emergencies.

The workshop emphasized the importance of quick and safe intervention to preserve the lives of the injured and reduce the complications associated with their conditions.
