The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah conducted the updated teaching eligibility test for medical sciences, with the participation of several new faculty members appointed to the university’s colleges and medical centers.

The teaching eligibility test aims to assess applicants’ competence in effective teaching skills according to the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education. The test included a presentation before a specialized committee, during which participants’ scientific and practical abilities were evaluated.

Dr. Mustafa Abdul Redha Kazem, Director of the Center for Development and Continuing Education, affirmed that the University of Basrah continues to develop the competencies of its faculty members and prepare them to enhance teaching quality in medical specialties, ensuring improved educational outcomes.
