The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a specialized lecture on research methodology as part of the eighth unit of the fifth Teaching Methods Course.

The lecture aims to familiarize participants with the fundamentals of engaging with research approaches across scientific disciplines.

Delivered by Dr. Uday Basheer Issa, the lecture explained the concept of scientific methodology and its role in studying both natural and non-natural phenomena, in addition to addressing the affective and cognitive dimensions that can be measured with non-absolute indicators.

The lecture also reviewed the steps involved in preparing scientific research and emphasized the importance of adhering to research ethics, as well as utilizing modern technologies, information systems, computers, and the internet to support the research process.
