The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on scientific research methodology, presented as the eighth and final module of the fifth Teaching Methods Course.

Delivered by Dr. Ali Lateef Tarish, the lecture introduced trainees to various domains of scientific research, including both natural and non-natural phenomena, as well as emotional and affective aspects whose degrees cannot be measured and are not absolute.

The session outlined the steps of the scientific method in research and addressed research ethics, in addition to demonstrating the use of modern technologies, information sources, computers, and the Internet.

The lecture concluded with recommendations emphasizing the core principles of the teaching profession and the pursuit of educational quality in order to advance toward global academic rankings.
