The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on research methodology for Unit Eight of the fifth Teaching Methods Course within the administrative specialization.

The lecture, which is part of the fifth Teaching Methods Course, aims to develop trainees’ skills in research methodology and highlight the role of academic supervision.

Presented by lecturer Marwa Mousa Atwan, the session covered a general overview of the definition of scientific research, the personal and organizational motivations behind conducting research, the objectives of scientific research, the role of the supervisor, and the key characteristics of effective research.

The lecture concluded with a recommendation to continue developing strategies in scientific research methodology.
