The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a training course on computer maintenance.
The course aimed to equip trainees with the skills to efficiently diagnose and repair technical faults, while acquiring essential and intermediate technical support competencies.
Delivered by lecturer Iman Fareed Khazal, the course covered the components of a computer and their functions, diagnosing hardware and software issues, and troubleshooting problems related to input/output devices, storage units, the motherboard, and the power supply. The training also included practical exercises on operating system installation, removing unnecessary files, and optimizing system performance.
The course emphasized the importance of developing maintenance skills to meet the evolving demands of the labor market.
