University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop Comparing the Divine Kingdom and Anthropology

The Center for Development and Continuing Education, in collaboration with the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, organized a scientific workshop entitled “A Comparison between the Divine Kingdom and Anthropology”, attended by a number of students.

 

The workshop aimed to focus on the relationship between the concept of the Divine Kingdom in religious and philosophical studies and anthropology as a discipline that examines humans, their cultures, and intellectual structures.

 

The workshop, presented by Lecturer Haitham Mahdi Ma’touq, discussed the metaphysical dimensions and spiritual values of the concept of the Divine Kingdom, alongside presenting the anthropological foundations for studying social behavior and religious symbols.

 

The workshop recommended enhancing interdisciplinary studies and encouraging comparative research to achieve a comprehensive understanding of humanity.
