The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a scientific lecture entitled “Introduction to Learning and Teaching” as part of the first unit of the Sixth Teaching Methods Course, within the updated curriculum for the southern region, targeting administrative specializations.

The lecture aimed to provide participants with essential knowledge and fundamental skills in the fields of learning and teaching.

The lecture, delivered by lecturer Marwa Mousa Atwan Al-Mu‘taq, reviewed the concepts of learning and teaching, their types, the differences between them, and the factors influencing their effectiveness, in addition to the elements that enhance learners’ motivation.

The lecture emphasized the importance of employing modern technologies in developing learning and teaching methods, contributing to the improvement of the quality of the educational process and its outcomes.
