The Center for Continuing Education and Development at the University of Basrah held a lecture entitled Introduction to Learning and Teaching as part of the first unit.

The lecture, which forms part of the Teaching Methods Course for the medical specialization (Unit One), aimed to equip trainees with knowledge of the philosophical foundations of the processes of learning and teaching.

The lecture, delivered by Dr. Khadija Sami Madi, addressed the concepts of learning and teaching and clarified the distinction between them. It also introduced the types of learning and teaching, the core principles underpinning both processes, and the surrounding factors that influence their effectiveness.

The lecture included a range of individual and group activities, in addition to assigned tasks that participants were required to complete and upload to the electronic classroom designated for the medical specialization group.
