The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a training course on leadership skills.

The course aimed to develop participants' abilities and empower them to lead individuals and teams effectively towards achieving common goals. It focused on enhancing self-awareness, fostering creativity, and developing the ability to adapt to changing work environments, as well as developing effective communication skills and leading organizational transformations.

The course, presented by faculty member Reem Qasim Hassan, included an introduction to the concept of leadership and its importance, clarifying the difference between a leader and a manager. It also reviewed key leadership skills such as communication, team management, goal setting through strategic planning, creative thinking, and time and resource management.

The course recommended the necessity of applying the acquired leadership principles and continuously developing leadership performance.
