The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture as part of the first module of the Seventh Teaching Methods Course, designated for the humanities disciplines.

The lecture aimed to reinforce the concepts of teaching and learning and to foster positive attitudes toward them.

The session, delivered by Dr. Ammar Duaier Faleh, addressed the definitions and forms of teaching and learning, as well as the major challenges facing the educational process, with a particular focus on developing learning skills and drawing comparisons between the two concepts.

It also included a survey of participants’ views on the role of e-learning in advancing education.

The lecturer emphasized the importance of education as a fundamental pillar in building human capacities and keeping pace with the requirements of modern higher education.
