The continuing Education and Development Center at  The University of Basra

 organized an online workshop about measurement and evaluation

 The aims of the workshop, which is part of the teaching methods course for teaching staff,  are to develop teaching staff skills, to preparing tests for students and  to realize measurement and evaluation in the lighting of modern educational developments.

 The workshop presented by Dr. Amer Abd Al-Nabi Al-Abadi included the introduction of measurement and evaluation, good test standards, functions and types of achievement tests, the difference between assessment and evaluation, as well as the steps for establishing and correcting the test.

At the end of the workshop recommendation  for a change in the prevailing concepts about exams and making the question banks that include questions for an online  achievement test for all specializations, which are used in training those who are qualified to occupy the teaching profession due to their availability of question forms that apply to the required standards
