The University Of Basra organizes a workshop about Change Management

The Continuing Education and  Development Center at the University of Basra organized an online workshop about Change Management.

 The aims of the workshop, which is part of the leadership skills course, are to shed light on one of the important and basic issues in contemporary management "administrative change", and to explain the major and influential role it plays in the development and to improve the performance of organizations  in different business environments.

 The workshop that was

presented by Dr. Abbas Abdel-Hamid Abdel-Abbas,

  included The administrative change concept and its importance in organizations of all kinds, and distinction in organizational and administrative aspect,the difference between change and improvement , and the detailed answer to the following question: What does the administrative change seek in organizations of in different kinds?

 It also presents explanation of the most important sources of administrative change and its fields in organizations, and answering in detail with examples the following question: How to start the process of change?

 to illustrate what it means to resist administrative change?  With an explanation of the most important causes of resistance to change in organizations, focusing on the positive role of administrative leadership to success the administrative change, and providing brilliant and realistic examples that are related to the main idea.

At the end of the workshops, the presenter recommendation was on the necessity to invest concepts, topics, and realistic examples dealt with in the workshop, to apply them to the practical reality for managers and state staff at their various organizational levels
