The University of Basra organized a workshop about The Concept Of Recruitment and Selection:

 The continuing Education and Development Center at the     University of Basra.           

   organized an online workshop about (The Concept Of Recruitment and Selection ),

the aims of the workshop, which is part of a training course in human resource management, are to introduce

the recruitment concept, its importance, sources, and identification Of the concept of selection, selection methods, and introduction about the concept of employment.

The workshop which was presented by the lecturer  Areej Karim Rahman included the identification of the concept of recruitment, as it is the first process in the process of human resources management, through the individual's recruitment; to employ them in the organization, and to identify the most important internal and external sources of attracting, selection, and the second operation that takes place directly after the recruitment process.

The selection of individuals nominated for jobs is according to the specializations and required qualifications, which take place in several stages before the individual is selected for appointment, or rejected. The appointment is the issuance of an order to appoint, and the determination of salary. After issuing the appointment decision, the wages and salaries are determined, and the remuneration necessary for work performance determines the the salary according to the nature of the job.

At the end of the workshops, presenters' the recommendation was on the necessity of enabling the participant to know how to conduct the recruitment process, the important rules, the foundations necessary for the recruitment process, and how to obtain the human resource, whether from internal sources or through employment offices, the Internet, etc.

Finally, the person’s choice is required in the right place, both according to quantity and type, and during the future stage, and when the human resource is required, it is according to the required specialization, and wages are determined according to the workload
