The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra organized an online workshop about Corona and deadly Black Fungus

 The aims of the workshop are to educate participants about the disease and its dangers, and to educate them about the level of fear spread for fungal infection.

 The workshop presented by Dr. Wisal Odah Hassan Al-Halfi included several concepts, including: An introduction to the world of fungi, and its types,the black fungus, its cycle and its form, and what causes it?  the types of infection it causes?  the symptoms of infection?  the right conditions for the infestation of  the disease? 

The workshop also answers why is it accompanied by Covid-19? the laboratory diagnosis as well as treatment.

 In the end, the recommendation was to pay attention to health and personal care, as well as not to use excessive and self-administered antibiotics without consulting a specialists like doctors, to eat healthy food,  to pay attention to strange symptoms and go to the hospital as soon as possible
