The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra organized an online course about “The Discipline Law for State Staff and the Public Sector. No.14 of 1991”.

The workshop aims of the course, to acquaint the participants with the State Staff Discipline Law, State, and Public Sector employees, the duties of the employee, with the provisions and principles stated in the State Employees Discipline Law, the methods used in the penalties prescribed for disciplinary offenses and the administrative investigation.

The workshop, which is presented by the lecturer the legal advisor Nashat Karim Shari, director of the legal department, included

the most important provisions and principles contained in the law, including: definitions, duties, penalties, and the legal nature of the directives of the Committee to investigate the administrative complaint.

‎‏ At the end of the workshop, the presenter's recommendation was to diversify and expand the subject of the State and Public Sector Employees Discipline Law; Because of its direct importance in their practical and professional lives
