The Continuing Education and Development

 Center at The University of Basra organized an online course on the accuracy of the Arabic language within the Enrichment Project.

The aims of the course, which introduces participants to the topics of language accuracy is to sharpen

 their skills in reading and writing,  to overcome spelling and grammatical errors in research, university theses, and administrative correspondence letters.

The course, which was presented by Dr. Muhammad Qasim Ni'ma, included several topics, namely: the rules of writing the articles, the "alif" , the rules of writing the "open ta'a", the punctuation marks, the adverb, some distictions and common spelling errors in  theses and official addresses.

At the end, the recommendation to continue holding such courses so as to pay attention to the Arabic language and learn its rules to promote the use of  the semi classic language. Also to enhance the ability of its users to develop their language skills, and to overcome spelling and grammatical errors
